Service Description
MORE ABOUT THE COURSE Delivered over a 3-hour interactive session, this course is designed to give younger children a basic understanding of first aid. The session includes hands-on practical activities, discussion, and plenty of opportunity for children to ask questions. By the end of the course, children will feel more confident and prepared to respond appropriately in a first aid emergency. WHAT’S COVERED? Children will learn how to: Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider Assess an incident and keep themselves safe Manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing Manage a casualty with external bleeding Manage minor injuries Recognise and respond to an asthma attack. This course is proudly funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
Cancellation Policy
Booking, Cancellation & Waitlist Policy Bookings are required in advance and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. All places are limited. As sessions are free and accredited, we kindly ask attendees to notify us as soon as possible if they are unable to attend. This allows us to offer the place to someone on the waitlist. Cancellations should be made at least 48 hours in advance where possible. Failure to attend without notice may affect eligibility for future bookings. If a session is fully booked, participants may join the waitlist. Places will be offered automatically if spaces become available.
