Thanks to the generosity of our community, the Toy Drive supporting Mid Cheshire Hospital Charity made a meaningful difference to children and families during the festive period. With fantastic support from local donors, including the generous colleagues at Bakkavor, we collected and donated a wide range of toys to help bring comfort, joy, and smiles to children spending time in hospital.

The community came together to donate toys for children of different ages, ensuring that no child felt forgotten during Christmas. All donations were delivered to Mid Cheshire Hospital Charity, helping to brighten the children’s wards and provide moments of happiness for both patients and their families.

Nurses from the children’s ward shared how the donated toys helped comfort children, reduce anxiety, and bring smiles during their time in hospital. Seeing the positive impact of these small acts of kindness was incredibly rewarding.

This Toy Drive showed the power of community working together. We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, shared the initiative, and supported us—especially the Bakkavor team—for helping us bring joy to children when they needed it most.
