Service Description
MORE ABOUT THE COURSE Our First Aid for Young People (12–15 years old) course has been specially designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and easy for children to understand. The course aims to give young people the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills needed to respond calmly and effectively in a range of first aid situations. This course is ideal for young people who are becoming more independent, spending more time with friends, travelling on their own, or starting part-time work or volunteering. It provides essential first aid knowledge and practical life skills, helping them build confidence and prepare to respond effectively in emergency situations. Important Information for Parents/Carers: *This is a drop-off session, so children should arrive ready to participate independently. *Children with asthma should bring their inhaler. *Children with allergies should bring any necessary medication or an EpiPen. *If your child has a disability that may affect their ability to lie down safely for first aid practice (e.g., recovery positions), please let us know in advance so we can make suitable adjustments.
