CF - Building a Safe Future (12-15)
Free first aid workshops for children and young people, building confidence and practical skills.
Service Description
Children First - Building a Safe Future These free first aid sessions are specially designed for children and young people, providing practical, age-appropriate skills in a safe and supportive environment. Participants will learn essential topics such as how to call for help and communicate clearly with emergency services, basic life-saving techniques including CPR, and how to use a defibrillator. The sessions aim to build confidence, resilience, and awareness, equipping young people with the knowledge to keep themselves, their friends, and their families safe. They are especially valuable for those gaining independence and spending more time with friends, helping them feel prepared and confident to respond in an emergency. This important initiative is proudly funded by the Cheshire Community Foundation.

As sessions are free and accredited, we kindly ask attendees to notify us as soon as possible if they are unable to attend. This allows us to offer the place to someone on the waitlist. Cancellations should be made at least 48 hours in advance where possible. Failure to attend without notice may affect eligibility for future bookings. If a session is fully booked, participants may join the waitlist. Places will be offered automatically if spaces become available.
